Privacy policy

Heads up: this is a working draft. Before going live in your jurisdiction (and especially for customers in the EU, UK, California, or India under the DPDP Act), have a lawyer review it.

1. Who we are

AI Launchkit (“we”, “us”) is a small studio operating the website at ai-launchkit.com. For privacy questions, contact admin@ai-launchkit.com.

2. What we collect

When you talk to our AI concierge

Your chat messages are sent to Microsoft Azure OpenAI to generate responses. We retain conversation transcripts to improve the product. Don’t share sensitive information (passwords, financial identifiers, health data) in the chat.

When you contact us by email

We store your email address and the contents of your message so we can reply and keep a record of our conversation.

When you pay for a tier

Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive the metadata of the transaction (tier, amount, payer email, country) but we do not see or store your card details — those stay with Stripe. See Stripe’s privacy policy.

When you visit the site

We use basic analytics to count page views and understand which sections of the site work. We don’t use cross-site tracking cookies and we don’t fingerprint visitors.

3. How we use it

• To deliver your project and respond to your messages.
• To improve the AI concierge’s scoping accuracy (anonymized, aggregate signals only).
• To comply with tax and accounting obligations.

4. Who we share it with

We share data with the service providers we need to operate: Microsoft Azure (AI), Stripe (payments), our email host, and our analytics provider. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.

5. How long we keep it

• Chat transcripts: up to 12 months, then deleted unless attached to an active project.
• Project deliverables and emails: 24 months after project completion for support and reference.
• Payment records: 7 years (tax requirement).

6. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. Email admin@ai-launchkit.com and we’ll respond within 14 days.

7. Cross-border transfers

We’re based in India and work with customers worldwide. Your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States (Azure, Stripe) and other countries our service providers operate in. We rely on standard contractual clauses where applicable.

8. Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the “last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be emailed to active customers.
